It’s a passion for pets that caused Louisiana native, Robin Lemoine to “chuck” a career in the fashion industry and enter the world of veterinary medicine. Robin was born and raised in a small farming community of Moreauville, Louisiana where her grandfather raised all kinds of farm animals and grew cotton. Her love for kittens, especially, began on that farm.  

Robin earned a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design and Merchandising and was then employed as a Visual Merchandiser in Brisbane, Australia. But the pull of her first love, animals, was strong and upon their return to the U.S. in 2010, Robin decided to become a veterinarian, starting her prerequisite requirements at the University of Louisiana. She eventually earned a second Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science.  In 2018, Dr. Lemoine was awarded a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University, completing her clinical training at Iowa State University. She is skilled in soft tissue surgery and dentistry.

A professed “cat lady” she and her husband moved to Boise, Idaho where they now reside with their son. Dr. Lemoine and her family enjoy everything the Idaho great outdoors has to offer. Water and snow skiing, hiking, bike riding, hot springing, reading, being owned by their 7 cats and enjoying fresh eggs from their five backyard Wyandottes. 

Her greatest joy as a vet is building relationships with clients and their pets and providing compassionate, calming and progressive care to all of her patients.
