Dan aspires to be a fourth-generation veterinarian. He has been around animal hospitals his whole life, and the choice to become a Veterinary Assistant while working on his long-term career goals was a natural one. Dan’s favorite childhood dog, Cassie, grew up with him. She was a springer spaniel with tons of spunk, who kept up with Dan on all of his adventures. He’s fascinated by Veterinary Medicine and is a sponge when it comes to training and new information. “The first time I saw my Gramps save an animal’s life I knew I wanted to be a Veterinarian. There was a dog who had been hit by a car, and despite the state of chaos around him, my grandfather entered a state of Zen. He was constant and assured as he went straight into surgery for three and a half hours. He saved that dog’s life without ever getting rattled.” We look forward to him holding the title of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at our hospital in the years to come. Dan joined the Hendricks team in 2018.
